Tim Draper predicts the next mega company to invest in Bitcoin.
The investor acknowledged that he does not believe that Google, Facebook or Apple will turn to the market.
After Tesla boosted the price of Bitcoin (BTC) with a multi-million dollar investment in mid-February, the entire world witnessed the potential of large companies in the crypto market, and investors began to speculate on future turnarounds. For Tim Draper , the next firm to invest in cryptocurrency will be Netflix .
The audiovisual content on demand platform was chosen by the prestigious hodler as the future responsible for an investment that will once again revolutionize BTC and the crypto market in general.
In dialogue with “The Unstoppable Podcast”, Draper suggested that Netflix “could be the next big one to fall” , in reference to the attraction that the emerging market represents at the best moment in its history.
“I think Reed Hastings (CEO of Netflix) is a very innovative guy and has a lot of creative thinking and I think he still controls the reins of Netflix, so I think that could be the next big one to go down (to the BTC market),” Draper slipped .
In that sense, the founder of Draper Fisher Jurvetson, Draper Venture Network, Draper University, Draper Associates and Draper Goren Holm, assured that he would invest in BTC if he were the CEO of any of the main companies in the world .
“I would be saying, ‘We have to own X% in Bitcoin’ because it is a hedge against another currency that becomes the currency of the future , and it is also a hedge against inflation as governments keep printing more of their fun dollars. ” Explained the investor .
As for the top 5 global companies , Draper believes that both Google, Facebook and Apple will seek to create a centralized currency of their own. Amazon , however, could have a future in the BTC market. Specifically, he slipped that the company could start accepting BTC as a means of payment in the near future , which would bring the firm closer to the market in view of future investment.
